My family went to my cousins wedding last weekend. The wedding was at Pebble Hill Plantation in Thomasville,GA and it was as pretty as a picture.The air was cool and the setting was filled with Live Oaks, and the scent of freshly cut grass.I took my shoes off because it was a long walk from the car to the wedding site.The concrete was rough and it was hurting my feet. We ate, took pictures, and danced.
After the wedding, the family stayed at the wedding site to take pictures. It was magical. We took turns by family and then gathered all the children together for a perfect family photo. We could hear the band playing and all the guests talking as they were in line to get their food. I touched my grandmother on the back and said, " It's time to go eat."
There were many different kinds of food to choose from. There were two cakes,baked chicken,green beans wrapped in mouth-watering bacon,shrimp and grits. Whenever my cousin and I were in line we could just taste the food that we were about to eat because it smelled so good. I was starving, but we sat down,ate for awhile, and talked. When I was finished eating my meal I got a piece of cake.
"You can take another ride on my big green tractor....", this was heard throughout the patio as the groom and bride danced. The band was playing good songs ,and were trying to persuade people to come dance. I wanted to go dance but it was time to leave. There was one slow country song that the bride and groom danced to.
It was a great wedding and everybody had alot of fun. The sky was getting dark ,and the air was getting colder so it was time to go home.
